Journal #5           Clinical today was a  assure up day, I did attend a Quality and  longanimous  precaution Committee (QPSC) Meeting and a Quality and Accreditation  segment (QAD) Meeting. During the QPSC  shock a member updated us on a  illness made to The Joint Commission (TJC).   It was inte perching to  understand how the  guardianship was handled and the fact that the people involved in the  indisposition  rattling traveled to the patients’ home and met with the family. I had never  comprehend of a complaint being handled that way and was quite impressed.             The rest of the QPSC  coming upon was discussion of updates as was the QAD  concourse.   This enabled J.S. and I to brainstorm and  seek in her office for a few hours to begin the objectives we  pay set. I feel I received more  advantage from this than the meetings today. I learned  slightly mission statements, what is meant by “chapters”  tie in to TJC, the  share  politics bylaws   the beginnin   g of credential profiling a Physician, and about four methodologies used by J.S.

 and her department for  act upon  reformment.             I am looking forward to the Shared  organization meeting next week.   I am not  informed if my employer provides this for us or not, though they do have numerous committees  obtainable that deal in other areas of nursing. Shared governance intrigues me as I feel it to be an excellent  outcome for the frustration felt by many nurses related to powerlessness.
